MasterPeace Productions™ is a writing and independent film/video
production company whose founder and director, Lorre Fritchy,
believes in the power and responsibility of storytelling. Founded
in June 1997, MasterPeace Productions began on Boston's North
Shore in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Lorre Fritchy, a screenwriter,
freelance writer and producer/director, launched MasterPeace Productions
to support the efforts of her award-winning documentary, Sandy
'Spin' Slade: Beyond Basketball. In 2001, MasterPeace relocated
to the historic, picturesque mill city
of Lawrence, Massachusetts.
From a practical and humorous series on what first-time filmmakers
should know, to independent feature films and screenplays, to
video projects for community organizations, MasterPeace Productions
creates, produces and distributes meaningful, substantive stories
through a variety of mediums.
With the goal of living up to its company name, MasterPeace strives
to give back to the subjects and communities lending themselves
to these diverse projects. Here’s
